Recently, I've read a great article over at cocoanetics about Core Text and using NSAttributeString with CATextLayer. Even found few interesting implementations, such as OHAttributedLabel or TTTAttributedLabel. Reviewing their code I realised that these implementations depend on fonts available to the App, but what if there is no bold and italic version of the font available?
